Product Innovation - Analytics Advisor

**Job Description**

The Product Innovation team is looking for a strategic thinker with excellent analytics skills and business acumen for the role of Innovation Advisor. This role will develop and manage the PBM (Prescription Benefit Manager) Quality program analytics suite; partner with Enterprise Analytics and various IT teams to develop technical solutions for innovation products; serve as analytics consultant to support Net New product team on market and competitive analyses and aid strategic decision making.

As an Innovation Advisor, you will collaborate with analysts, product developers, healthcare policy, and strategy leaders to identify client trends and product opportunities across the Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial healthcare landscape. You will consult with business leaders, IT partners, and product owners to facilitate product development and guide priorities through insightful analytics. You will be successful in accomplishing this through:

- Managing complex analytical projects through data exploration, model building, evaluation, and testing

- Demonstrating project leadership experience (leading work streams and managing critical deliverables)

- Operating as an internal management consultant

- Collaborating in matrix environment with other business areas and leaders to ensure appropriate project prioritization, funding, and change controls activity (budget or scope)

- Building relationships with internal and external partners to foster collaboration that will enable innovation pipeline

- Leveraging verbal and written communication to all levels of internal/external partners to obtain buy-in including prioritization, business case development and funding

- Demonstrating success with large product development and/or management initiatives

- Influencing capabilities to the broad internal/external audience

- Demonstrating understanding of technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems/provide technical solutions

This position does not have any direct reports, but leads others in project work and is a thought leader on subjects of expertise. Your knowledge of analytic software, business systems, and data warehouses/lakes will be valued. For all projects, your ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, managers, IT partners, and Product Innovation professionals is key to success.

This position can be located in Woonsocket RI; Scottsdale AZ; or can be based remotely in the U.S.

**Required Qualifications**

--3+ years of advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivot

--3+ years of relevant analytic experience working in a data warehouse environment and large, relational, and complex data sets from multiple sources.

--2+ years of relevant programming, such as SQL, SAS, Python, R, and/or Teradata SQL Assistant

--1+ years of relevant experience with PowerPoint and word processing

**Preferred Qualifications**

--3+ years of demonstrated experience performing data manipulation and developing statistical approaches, within a highly regulated industry.

--2+ years of experience leading projects in a business setting.

--2+ years as analyst or consultant specifically defining business requirements to develop a solution.

--2+ years of hands-on experience with a data visualization tools and software, such as Tableau or Power BI.

- Building and operationalizing Machine Learning models are a plus

-Experience with Medicare and Medicaid quality performance programs

--Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, as needed, per business needs.


--Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.

--Masters degree in analytic field (i.e.: business, computer science, public health) is preferred.
