Overview:


The department is a new and expanding function within ICG Technology with global scope. Our mission is to make it easy and simple for over 20,000 developers to go from a business idea to delivery of an innovative production solution in a secured manner. This will be done by improving and upgrading our tools, streamlining our processes, automating and strengthening our controls, and helping development teams adopt modern ways of working.


We need an experienced lead to drive, review and initiate developer focused/requested product/components through the internal processes from request to production deployment. They will need be evaluate, review and manage the ICG sector requests and working in partnership with our architecture and cyber teams to ensure that all we manage our ICG catalogue of developer toolchains/products in line with global vulnerability demands.


Responsibilities:


+ Lead contributor as part of an expert team closely supporting the desktop engineering and the cyber enablement teams

+ Pursue and identify key software stack developer, process improvements as well as latest software updates to minimize CVEs

+ Drive development for gaps identified that would simplify the experience for ICG application developers

+ Identify security risks in existing developer packages and drive for remediations across ICG

+ Evaluate third party services, systems, tools, libraries and solutions

+ Continual self-study to keep up to date on new threat and attack methods

+ Able to assess latest versions of Software and product roadmap

+ Provide feedback to enable continuous improvement on existing process and engineering practice

+ Acting as an advisor and expert lead to ICG development desktop teams to help them improve their expertise and developer experience


Experience, Skills & Qualifications:


+ Intimate knowledge of the development process, ideally from working in and/or leading technical teams in a banking environment

+ Good knowledge in enterprise risk control, auditing, and security best practice

+ Knowledge in Jira and agile software development is considered to be an asset

+ Management and prioritization skills facing off to demanding and varied technology savvy client base

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

+ Ability to develop working relationships

+ Deep expertise in developer community packages for open source and 3rd party

+ Familiarity with certification of new products in enterprise organization

+ Experience of product evaluation to release management and managing continued iterative upgrades in enterprise organization

+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
