In Brief


This role suits a candidate studying to a Marketing or Business degree with a keen interest in Product Marketing. Students within this area will support various programmes and as such, these roles would suit a student wishing to gain a broad understanding of Product marketing practices. Students will have the opportunity to engage in such things as product launch, marketing programmes, data mining, research and analysis, as well as supporting both direct and indirect sales channels. The working environment is both challenging and rewarding and students are considered a key support to those within and outside of their team.



What will I be doing?
  • Delivering high quality support to the Product Team, taking on project work, assisting with campaigns, events and management reporting. From time to time you will be expected to run specific in-depth product reports to aid Product Manager insight. This may involve working closely with the manager to utilise data to extract key information regarding a particular product/product group. This may require displaying the data in a creative way to capture the key message/ story both for the Product Manager and other senior members of the organisation that the information may be cascaded to.
  • Assist with Product Lifecycle tasks, such as participate in launch meetings, review and load sales systems and coordinate data for product retirement systems.

  • Maintain sales support systems that holds collaterals, presentations and videos.

  • Data Analysis, analysing Market Share and trends

  • Evaluating Competitive data

  • Co-ordinating conference calls, collating, publishing and managing team meetings

  • Management of our Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce. You will be required to add accounts on behalf of others and run specific monthly reports to track aspects such as pipeline, revenue and deals. You may be appointed as the HQ Support Champion which will require you to provide additional support to those facing any technical issues.

  • Taking an active role in the recruitment of the following year student placement. The current student will be responsible for organising the recruitment process, the induction and the training process for the following year student.

  • There might be some limited Event Support needed, to ensure customer and sales events run smoothly. Agree to travel overseas if required.

Programme Entry Requirements:
  • Minimum of 240 UCAS Points
  • 2nd Year Student looking for a 12 month placement as part of 3rd Year
  • Minimum 5 GCSE A-C
  • 12 weeks Work Experience
  • On Track to receive a 2:1
