Description The Process Improvement Professional 2 analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. The Process Improvement Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Process Improvement Professional 2 researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, clinical care models, and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and re-engineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements. Understands department, segment, clinical care models, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Creates and implements all aspects of clinic processes to ensure clinic staff is fully prepared for successful operations. Creates and maintains clinical workflow documentation including process maps and procedural guidelines, which are to be implemented and followed by clinics in all markets. Ownership of system, workflow, and process combined documentation. Facilitates role based training on EMR and overall workflow for the given role, as needed. Provides onsite support for new and existing markets during implementation periods. Conducts Train the Trainer sessions for training team on newly updated processes. Acts as an intake resource for any workflow requiring modification to suit business needs, and follows through with an appropriate resolution. Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 3 years of technical experience (working with clinical systems; EMR/Practice Management systems). + Strong analytical, oral communication, and technical writing abilities. + Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio. + Experience in a physician office environment, clinical or non-clinical role. + Experience developing process improvement procedures to streamline workflows. + Experience working on projects designed to improve quality, reduce errors, and design new business processes. + Prior experience with delivering presentations to all levels of leadership. + Full understanding of Value Based Care and Senior Focused Models. + Ability to travel up to 25%, or as business needs. + Strong adaptability to cross function as a trainer based on business need + Must be located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kansas City, MO, Shreveport, LA Preferred Qualifications + eClinicalWorks experience preferred. + Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred. + Masters degree in related field preferred. + Project management experience. + HEDIS measures knowledge. + Knowledge in Humana Care Delivery Organization's clinical processes and workflows.
