DESCRIPTION

The Private Pricing Program is a global organization that drives AWS business by creating long term strategic relationships with our customers to grow their use of AWS services. The scope of the Program includes internal governance for approvals, self-drafting contracts, field training, policy, and guidelines and the development, implementation, and management of the business processes, systems, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives. Private Pricing Operations is looking for a customer-obsessed Program Manager to work with internal and external stakeholders and systems teams to develop cutting-edge products and continuously evaluating and improving those products to drive innovation and automation in Private Pricing.

Your responsibilities will be focused on Private Pricing Opportunities (PPO), working with SCE Deal Teams to develop internal (SCE) and external (field sales teams) training programs on private pricing.

This role is based in North America.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Handle assignments of private pricing requests for Core Deals (Renewals, Amendments, Rate Cards) requiring qualitative business logic.
· Capture and analyze manual data to document sales field trends and provide tooling/training recommendations for senior management.
· Sort private pricing requests based on complex, qualitative business logic in addition to predefined criteria

· Leverage data analytics to capture and organize information on sales request trends and various scenarios (e.g. quality of information submitted, number of request iterations, information commonly missed, etc.) in order to share findings and recommend improvements to senior management.
· Develop and implement various training modalities for private pricing for all global sales field teams and internal stakeholders.
· Demonstrate the ability to work backwards and develop a comprehensive training program for Core Deals (Renewals, Amendments, Rate Cards)
· Capture and analyze manual data to document sales field trends and provide tooling/training recommendations for senior management
· Implement mechanisms to track adoption, satisfaction and error analysis for the purpose of content iteration and creation
· Utilize instructional or e-learning design background to create high quality, engaging training assets for private pricing for all global sales field teams and internal
· Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of product/program management and data analysis to include identifying business and technical impacts of user requirements while using analytical tools and managing delivery of BI, Analytics, and data products
· BA/B.S. or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate concepts to cross-functional audiences.
· Understanding of cloud computing concepts and the AWS offering. Project management skills including scoping work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, with specific strength in setting and managing expectations
· Experience with Salesforce.com interface, dashboard creation, and reporting
· Proficient to mastery use with instructional design software (i.e. Storyline, Captivate, Vyond, etc)
· Collaborative team player who never says, €œthat€™s not my job€

· Background or experience in complex negotiations
