DESCRIPTION

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.


The Role:


In this role, you will work directly with engineering teams and operational stakeholders to drive the satellite networking and telecom operations/business software services deliverable's. You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must demonstrate strong business judgment, data driven analysis, deep technical depth, strong writing skills and be comfortable driving executive-level reviews. The best candidates will have deep understanding of satellite or wireless communication services and know how to define, coordinate and execute on fast paced services definition and delivery. Candidates with the following demonstrated experience from the telecom industry will be preferred (1) Expertise with telecommunications service definition and delivery (2) Satellite and wireless networking/OSS/BSS services architectures; (3) ISP and B2B/Wholesale networking and communications services (4) Telecom customer care, customer engagement, billing/subscription and point of sales.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

· Subject matter expertise to define a global networking and OSS/BSS strategy
· Drive technical/business requirements of telecom service provider network design, service delivery and operations and guide the direction of Kuiper networking and telecom applications and services
· Identify and execute service delivery plans across multiple projects
· Maintain high execution cadence with successful and timely project management
· Use data and tools to identify opportunities to drive deliver services with high revenue, utilization and margin
· Strong communication skills and technical depth, with the ability to impress at any level, from executive to developer
· Experience with AWS is desired but not required


Export Control Requirement:



Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


Basic qualifications:


· Bachelor€™s Degree in Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
· 10+ years of relevant PM work experience
· Experience in Telecom OSS/BSS and Networking domains
· Experience in large size telecom / IT systems integration and complete SDLC



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Preferred qualifications:
· Master€™s Degree in Engineering
· Highly knowledgeable in OSS system architecture, designs, specifications, system testing and system users training
· Strong understanding of Telecom Domain in terms of Order Capture/ Order Management / Provisioning / Trouble Ticketing / Billing
· Strong architecture skills and well aware of best design practices and software architectures
· Experience in agile Environment with a solid understanding of role
· Expertise at Tier-1 Telecom Service provider, Telecom vendor or System integrators
· Deep expertise in Cloud native design patterns and virtualization of Telecom Networks
· Machine Learning and Deep Learning applicability to Telecom services
