Job summary
Job summary:
Come join Amazon€™s cloud storage team in Boston or NYC as we continue our super-fast growth trajectory and continue to deliver the most innovative file storage offerings on the cloud. Our cloud storage offerings power businesses across the globe, helping customers use data to build autonomous vehicles, research new medical treatments, and develop other data-intensive applications at scale.

We are bringing our cloud storage offerings to the edge, enabling customers to use our offerings for a wide variety of IOT, machine learning, and latency-sensitive workloads that are located outside of traditional AWS Regions.

In this role, you will lead our product management team that is defining and delivering capabilities for bringing a broad set of storage offerings to the edge. The impact you will have will be tremendous, and at global scale, as you lead our team in pioneering how to provide our storage in new environments that are closer to end users. You will enable high-performance applications to process and store data close to where it€™s generated, empowering a variety of ultra-low latency, intelligent, and real-time workloads.

How you will succeed:
As the right candidate, you will possess a strong product management background, have demonstrated the ability to build teams and develop talent, and have a well-rounded technical background in current web technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You will not only be able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.

About the team

Work/life balance:
Our team is focused on balancing life with work, and does this via work autonomy and by prioritizing solutions and processes that enable us to scale faster than the business. The Amazon File Storage team is mostly located in Boston, New York, and Atlanta, with customers and events around the globe, so occasional travel (once per quarter) may be required. Our team members generally come in to the office two days per week.

Inclusive team culture:
Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon€™s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.
