The Amazon Shopping App for iOS, Android, and Fire Tablet is the most used shopping app in the world and the Amazon Mobile Shopping Foundation team is responsible for building the core technologies to make that possible. The Amazon Mobile Shopping team is looking for an exceptional Principal Product Manager (Technical) to help us create, build, and deliver technology that drives the Amazon flywheel.

As Principal Product Manager, you will develop the vision for how customers engage with Amazon in the mobile shopping app by taking advantage of the best features available in apps. You will lead the team in developing the strategy, prioritization, and crisp business requirements that will be used to change the way customers shop in the app and how the rest of Amazon builds app experiences. Working backwards from our customers and partners, you will identify gaps in our foundation, toolset, and development models and own the product roadmap from design through release to accelerate building a great mobile app experience. You will work side by side with a talented team of software developers, product managers, technical program managers, and senior leaders in a dynamic environment.

The right candidate will possess business and product management background combined with solid understanding of and demonstrated experience with technical products and programs. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an environment with massive scale, technical complexity, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Your grit and optimism will advance our technologies and maximize customer benefit. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years in product management, technical sales and/or marketing is required
· Bachelor€™s degree in engineering, business, design or related field; or equivalent work experience.
· Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services
· Most of all: enthusiasm, creativity, and inventiveness! You will be asked to find new ways to solve challenging problems every day.

· Experience delivering broadly adopted technology products/services in a very high growth environment where priorities shift fast
