For the Pricing Strategy Revenue Management APAC function, working in Singapore, together with the APAC Pricing Strategy Revenue Management + dotted line reporting to APAC VPs of Restorative Therapies Group (RTG) and Diabetes Group (DIB).


The Principal Pricing Strategy Revenue Management Leader APAC is a senior Pricing Revenue management role within the Medtronic APAC team, leading the function across the APAC RTG and DIB businesses, covering the functional areas of Pricing Strategy, Contracting, Tendering Pricing Operations. The functional lead manages the regional functional team, focuses on driving strategic and daily execution of pricing, contracting and tendering strategies and initiatives across all APAC countries and RTG and DIB business units. The candidate will have to ensure implementation of pricing contracting foundation processes and governance across the entire APAC region.


**A Day in the Life**


This person will champion pricing contracting and will be part of the regional and global Pricing Revenue Management function, working closely with Country Pricing Leaders as well as Medtronic RTG and DIB Sales Marketing leaders and the Finance team. Specifically, this person will:


+ Define and manage the pricing structure and capability in line with the regional business and commercial strategy and goals

+ Lead on-going pricing activities across MDT product portfolio and drive value capture by implementing pricing strategy initiatives

+ Partner with Country Pricing Leaders as well as Marketing and Sales teams on ad-hoc pricing projects and new product pricing

+ Implement operating mechanisms across the entire APAC region to strengthen the focus on pricing and contracting as key strategic and profit levers.

+ Implement key pricing contracting processes and governance across the entire APAC region

+ Propose and implement mechanisms to trigger POP (profit optimization) and price increase programs

+ Develop best in class contracting and tendering capabilities including deal governance and proper Contract Lifecycle management.

+ Drive and monitor compliance to target prices and pricing guidelines

+ Drive adoption of best practices and tools being developed at the APAC level

+ Support the implementation of new and innovative business models in line with value-based health care initiatives and the management of the care continuum.

+ Evaluate pricing trends and recommend actions to ensure pricing meets Regional strategic objectives

+ Conduct analysis and build consensus with key stakeholders to drive agreement on appropriate pricing levels

+ Understand the full value chain and supports Channel Management and market development activities

+ Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations

+ Use sound business judgment and strong financial skills to interact with Regional VP, regional Sales Marketing Leaders and other stakeholders


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

+ 7+ Years previous healthcare experience in Strategy, Finance, Reimbursement / Health Economics, Marketing or Pricing Contracting.

+ The ideal candidate should have in-depth understanding and extensive experience with the development and execution of pricing and contracting strategies that optimize market access and product profitability

+ Significant experience is required in price, contract and tendering. Sales or downstream/operational marketing experience a plus. The last one to two positions should have been in pricing, contracting ortendering positions.

+ Proven track record on Business Partnership and process improvement

+ Strong Leadership and influence skills for all levels of the business

+ Knowledge and understanding of regional tendering, reimbursement and funding paths

+ Strong business acumen and financial understanding

+ Excellent analytic and strategic skills - Demonstrated analytical and statistical problem solving skills

+ At ease and able to operate in a very diversified cultural environment

+ Experience with working in a complex matrix structure

+ Strong written and verbal communication as well and negotiation skills to drive significant change management / adoption of new practices

+ Team player and track record of working collaboratively to manage cross-functional, cross-business issues and generate impact through others.

+ Fluent in English, any other local languages from APAC is a plus

+ Mandatory University degree, Masters degree preferred
