**JOB DUTIES:**

**Principal IT Project Lead Innovation for Medtronic, Inc. located in Northridge, CA. Responsible for theoversight of IT projects in the innovation portfolio. Coordinates planning,execution and evaluation of IT projects according to timelines, budgets, andproject requirements.** **Coordinates withcross-functional groups for the business, IT and external vendors. Monitors andreports on product metrics and business KPIs on a weekly basis. Responsible forvarious Software Application Development projects. Coordinates BusinessIntelligence, Big Data, Web Based, Mobile, Digital, Ecommerce and Cloud basedprojects. Responsible for SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile Scrum,SAFE and Lean Sigma methodologies related projects. Works on IT problemdiagnosis using CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions), Root Cause Analysisand continuous improvement processes.** **Understands the unique IT needs in the Medical Device, Pharma and LifeSciences industry domains. Navigates the complexities of government andindustry regulations to include ISO13485, regulatory compliance, HL7, FDA 21CFR Part 820 part 11, GxP requirements and validation testing.** **Understands and adheres to Healthcare Domainprotocols to include HIPAA, Security and Privacy, CCPA and GDPR compliance.Leverages experience with Retail Domain areas to include Omni-Channel, OrderSystems, BOPUS and Point of Commerce to modernize healthcare IT systems. Usingtechnologies and project tools to icnlude Java, J2ee, XML, Oracle, DB2, Kafka,ServiceNow, Hadoop, Watson, Bluemix, Informatica MDM and IDQ, Salesforce, IOSMobile app with Watson, Webmethods and API(APIGEE). Leverages knowledge fromPMP (Project Management Professional) and CSM (Certified Scrum Master)certification to effectively influence and coordinates critical ITprojects.**


**REQUIREMENTS:**

**Bachelors Degree orforeign equivalent in Information Technology or Electrical (or Electronics) Engineeringand five (5) years of experience leading IT Projects and five (5) years of post-bachelorsprogressive experience in all of the following: Leading Software ApplicationDevelopment Projects in the areas of Business Intelligence, Big Data, WebBased, Mobile, Digital, Ecommerce and Cloud based; SDLC, Agile Scrum, SAFE andLean Sigma methodologies; Problem diagnosis using CAPA, Root Cause Analysis andcontinuous improvement processes; Medical Device, Pharma or Life Sciencesindustry domain; ISO13485, regulatory compliance, HL7, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 part11, GxP requirements and validation testing; Healthcare IT projects domain withHIPAA, Security and Privacy, CCPA and GDPR compliance; Retail Domain inOmni-Channel, Order Systems, BOPUS and Point of Commerce.
