The Principal IT Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for delivering and maintaining IT business system master data solutions to support Diabetes Business goals. Key duties include applying in-depth business experience with cross functional system knowledge in multiple areas of SAP ECC; for analysis, design, configuration, testing, and support of complex IT systems; to manage, execute, and deliver projects to support Diabetes business goals; to ensure business process owners maintain system operational levels; and to contribute on global IT projects and initiatives.


**A DAY IN THE LIFE**


As subject matter expert, work with business partners to understand the processes, elicit details for new requirements, recommend high-quality maintainable solutions, and develop appropriate IT system functionality to support the business needs


Acquire a thorough understanding of Diabetes business processes in assigned area, and configure and enhance IT systems to ensure proper alignment of the application to the business requirements and needs


Provide necessary support for daily maintenance of IT applications and integrated systems for issue recognition, tracking and resolution


Work with business owners to provide sound project, functional, technical documentation to global IT standards


Manage IT system enhancements through all phases including configuration, development, testing, validation, and deployment to ensure all documentation, regulatory, and compliance procedures are followed


Specify and support interfaces to other Medtronic systems and external applications


Comply with Medtronic standards and SOPs


Deliver projects on time and on budget


**MUST HAVE** (Minimum Qualifications)


Bachelors degree


7+ years of experience with a bachelors degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree


**NICE TO HAVE** (Preferred Qualifications)


Demonstrated Expertise in Data Management, SAP Master Data Governance, Data Validation, and Data Stewardship programs.


Cross-functional knowledge of SAP Master Data with relevant work experience in the manufacturing sector.


Ability to analyze complex information, advanced excel skills, and experience with reporting and analytics for data sets across multiple applications.


Ability to facilitate workshops for requirements analysis across multiple business functions and multiple global sites for efficient high-quality solutions.


Record of contribution for design, development, documentation, and deployment of master data models and systems.


Priority consideration will be given to local applicants.


Prior work experience with Quality Systems in MedTech, Pharma, or other regulated industry.


Experience with master data integration/publishing/synchronization between SAP and other applications.
