Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ is currently hiring for a Principal Human Resources Generalist (HRG) who will report to the Human Resource Business Partner and support one of the matrixed organizations within Raytheon Missile Systems. As a member of Human Resources team, you will be a critical enabler in the execution and application of Missile Systems core Human Resources processes, policies and practices. The Principal Human Resources Generalist will have responsibility for the execution of HR processes and activities to support designated customer groups within (OSQ), Operations, Security and Quality & Mission Assurance. The Principal Human Resources Generalist will collaborate with leaders as an advisor and architect on topics including organizational effectiveness, change and talent management, organizational learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations. Additionally, through partnership with other HR Leaders, Business Partners and Generalists across Missile Systems, this position will provide leadership and support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development. Primary Responsibilities: Models Employee Advocacy behavior and serves as a trusted advisor to front, mid-level leaders, senior leaders and employees. Serves as a partner focusing on brokering solutions to business problems. Serves as a resource for driving a culture of Diversity and Inclusion. Executes critical HR processes, including compensation, performance management and talent acquisition. Collaborates amongst other HR organizations such as Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Program Management Excellence (PMX) and Global Talent Development (GTD) to achieve business and talent objectives. Models consistent application of Raytheon HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions. Drives Talent Management strategies to include workforce planning, talent review, succession planning, knowledge transfer and high-potential development. Assists in the interview process, helps drive decisions and recommendations. Communicate and implement proactive strategies pertaining to employee relations, training, leadership development, employee communications, and diversity & inclusion in support of strategic objectives. Investigates and resolves Employee Relations issues and complaints, including Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Ethics-related case investigations. Focuses on maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture. Required Skills: Minimum of Six (6) years or more of progressive Human Resource experience in the areas of Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Staffing, and Organizational Effectiveness Experience leading HR related programs (Compensation, Performance Management, etc.) Experience coaching managers regarding employee performance & talent development. Experience and strong proficiency serving as a consultant to leaders for their organization on highly significant matters relating to organizational strategies and efficiencies. Experience with Microsoft suite of products.
Desired Skills: Experience building effective working relationships with a broad range of management styles at all levels in the organization. Strong HR and business acumen with experience driving HR strategic partnerships in influencing business results. Experience influencing senior leaders and managing change in a matrixed environment. Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality. Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills. Strong communication skills to include verbal, written, and interpersonal. Proficiency with Excel to include Pivot Tables. Strong knowledge of labor law legislation to include investigations and handling of employee relations issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include conducting presentations at senior manager level. Experience and understanding of a wide array of Human Resources management systems (PeopleSoft, Cognos, etc.) and tools, including talent and performance management, compensation and rewards systems. Active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance. Required Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field. Desired Education: Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and relevant HR Certifications, PHR or SPHR preferred. This position can be either a Principal HR Generalist or Consulting HR Generalist based on the candidates qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. 156833
