The Financial Contract Close-out Office (FCCO) within the Raytheon Missiles and Defense Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Directorate has an immediate opportunity for a strong experienced Lead who is interested in broadening their network and business acumen while enacting positive change across all of RMD finance. This individual will have full responsibility for the contract closure process by which all necessary actions are taken to satisfy Company and Customer administrative requirements to effect a settlement of all monies due. This person will report to the Resource Planning/Contract Close-out Manager and will be accountable as the lead overseeing a team of two-three analysts supporting senior management as well as the RMD Program Finance teams.

The person chosen for this role will:

+ Obtain a breadth of knowledge of RMD contract close-out processes as a key POC in the front end of all contract closures, including support to enterprise wide closure activities and initiatives, as well as providing audit support as needed. (DCMA/DCAA/Internal/External).

+ Ensure that all assignments are prioritized and completed on schedule with adequate time allotted for management review.

+ Take full accountability for the Y-Complete process vetting newly issued Contract Closure Notices (CCNs) by Contract Managers to analyze what actions need to be taken.

+ Assist in maintaining the integrity of timely closure of records in accordance with FAR regulations and company policy

+ Be responsible for maintaining and teaching a contract close out training course.

+ Conduct quarterly contract close out Program reviews.

Required Skills:

+ 6 years of directly related Finance or Business field

+ Bachelors Degree in Business, Math Finance Accounting or a related field, OR 4 years of directly related experience with a Masters Degree in Business, Math, Accounting or Finance.

+ Experience in program finance (managing multiple contracts, earned value management, Estimate at Complete (EACs)

+ Experience with financial systems (SAP, BW, etc.), and tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Desired Skills:

+ Works exceptionally well in a team environment, but also capable working individually

+ Ability to focus on process improvement and problem solving skills

+ Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain

+ Aptitude for working in a team environment to achieve results

+ Ability to work in a fast paced environment and capable multiple tasks going on simultaneously.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable speaking in large groups; has the ability to confidently and professionally share opinions with every level of management

+ Extremely organized; can easily track various revision scenarios

+ Effectively lead and participate in meetings

+ A drive for leading process change, willing and able to partner with cross business teams to improve forecast accuracy
