Principal, Client Relationship Manager - Global Real Estate

Responsible foraggressively managing assigned LOBs capital and occupancy requirements. Delivers professional advisory services to LOBExecutives of assigned businesses in support of the assigned LOBs goals tominimize occupancy costs through efficient space utilization & promotingalternative workplace solutions developed in conjunction with GS&GRE colleagues,HR & Technology. Develops customizedoccupancy metrics and market studies for regular briefings of key Executiveswithin their assigned LOB so Real Estate considerations are integrated intostrategies at their inception.


Key Roles& Responsibilities


-RelationshipManagement: Accountable as the LOBssenior point of contact for Managing Directors/CEOs of assigned businesses.Diligently markets corporate real estate services offered and value added.Effectively communicates cost savings opportunities, project activity andoccupancy plan status to key clients. Identifies and communicates cost savingsopportunities, project activity and occupancy plan status to key clients. Assists LOB with project development andapproval. Attends staff meetings at least quarterly, and offsite meetings whenpossible.


-Facilitate Communication: Accountablefor accumulating and communicating LOB plans outlining new initiatives, currentbusiness activities, goals & objectives, locations, HR data and operatingpractices to Strategic Planners and Facility Planners; and communicatingCorporate REPO strategy and initiatives to LOB partners


-Strategic Real Estate Consultant: Identify strategic real estateinitiatives which improve operating efficiency of LOB. Specifically, thisindividual is accountable for developing, and aligning, long range occupancy strategieswith each LOBs long range plan. Their goal is to minimize occupancy costs andimprove work process. Communicate impact of real estate strategies/options interms of LOBs key performance measures.


-Program Liaison: Oversee the definition and development of occupancy planningoptions in response to proposed business initiatives. Communicate options andfinancial impact to LOB. Assist LOB with approval process. Provide progressreports on project development/implementation.Program manage major initiaves as needed coordinating with other CRM'sand functions within GS&GRE, HR & Technology


-FostersTeamwork: Fosters team relationships with clients, vendors, project managersand other support groups. Leverages theexpertise of team members to deliver the best possible occupancy solution forthe LOB


Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 10-12 years of experience preferred. May require experience specific to the assigned corporate service.
