In this exciting role as a **Principal Business Process Improvement Analyst** , you will support the enterprise level Customer Quality team in driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing transformational projects. The Customer Quality team are responsible for enterprise-wide complaint handling, Field Corrective Actions and Product Hold Order activities aimed at delivering product excellence, simple and effective solutions and an enhanced customer experience. You will be part of a dynamic, global team and will collaborate across the Customer Quality organization, and with OU and regional partners.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

+ Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).

+ Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

+ Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.

+ Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

+ Collects data to identify root cause of problems.

+ Measures performance against process requirements.

+ Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.

+ Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.

+ May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

+ Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.

+ Communicates team progress.

+ Performs cost and benefit analyses.

+ Participate in implementing best practice tolls and techniques in project management.

+ Manage changing priorities on projects through effective schedule management and deployment of PM methodologies

+ Operate as role model by striving for continuous improvement and being an agent of change.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors Degreewith7+ years of work experience in quality, regulatory, health, clinical and/or complaint handling OR Advanced Degree with 5+ years of work experience in quality, regulatory, health, clinical and/or complaint handling.

**Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)**

+ Medical device industry experience

+ Experience with ISO 13485 Quality Management System

+ Experience in Complaint Handling, Field Corrective Actions and/or Product Hold Order processes
