Principal Associate, Human Resources Consultant

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support for a client team to help deliver an HR strategy that is aligned with the needs of the Financial Services Technology organization

  • Help support our people leader and associate population by answering questions, providing guidance and teaching them to be self-service

  • Partner with HR partner groups on the design of key HR programs: provide feedback, input, and change management considerations to ensure that end products are relevant, applicable and achieve desired end results

  • Collaborate with HR Partners (Compensation, Training, Recruiting and Communications) to design and deliver on key strategic projects

  • Drive performance management and monitor and analyze key HR performance indicators including attrition and recruiting statistics

  • Ability to manage up, across, and down in a large organization while gaining support for change recommendations

Key Responsibilities:

Talent and Performance Management:

  • Develop materials to be used in talent and performance management sessions including walk-around decks, communications, and training materials to be used in preparing managers and associates

  • Facilitate performance management sessions and/or provide notes as needed

  • Prepare consolidated summaries for business leaders to describe outcomes of talent conversations

  • Complete promotion and compensation changes in Workday

  • Participate in retros on existing process and use our people analytics, HR consultants and leader insight to identify, recommend and execute continuous improvement to achieve our desired talent outcomes

All Associate Surveys:

  • Understand business intent, trends risks and goals

  • Prepare summary materials (deck and/or Excel) for business leaders

  • Partner with lead HR consultants and business leads to develop specific reporting, actionable insights and summaries to translate results into action items

Reporting/analysis support for client groups:

  • Establish subject matter expertise with HR data systems - Workday, Panorama, Kaleidoscope, etc.

  • Complete reporting as a part of key Talent Management/Performance Management/Survey processes

  • Provide data and reporting as needed for other requests, i.e. headcount tracking, spot bonus, spans and layers, etc. on a regular and ad hoc basis

  • Assist with identification and selection of associates for development opportunities, training, etc.

Drive projects for clients:

  • Implement programs and activities to support people leader development

  • Broad scale talent planning such as organizational changes, org design planning, etc.

  • Supporting local team recognition programs

  • Assist with recurring and/or ad hoc data analysis

  • Provide ad hoc HRC input/involvement on client Associate Relations cases

  • Be the go-to for tactical problem solving/HR needs for Dealer Services client groups (all associate survey data cuts, Workday issues, job family information, etc.)

  • Develop talent materials for Dealer Services and present on recurring talent topics (open requisitions, recognition budget, key talent management/performance management deadlines, etc.)

Partner with HR Lead and HR Consultants to ensure a well-managed team

  • Facilitate weekly Financial Services HR Consultant meetings as needed (rotating responsibility with other Jr. HR Consultants):

    • Gather agenda topics from the HR Lead, HR Consultants, Partners

    • Distribute agenda and materials

    • Facilitate weekly team and partner meetings (calendar review, action tracker, etc.)

    • Provide updates on key topics to ensure consistent awareness and alignment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or Military experience

  • At least 2 years of client facing experience or at least 2 years of human resources experience or a combination of both

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or Military experience

  • Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or Coaching certification

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist

  • At least 4 years of client facing experience of 4 years of consulting experience or a combination of the two
