**Position can be based onsite in Minneapolis, MN or Santa Rosa, CA.**

This position is a remote-based position on interim basis due to Covid19 Pandemic. Upon approval of Return to Office site guidelines, this role will require the individual to work onsite.

Recruiting for multiple roles in the within the Cardiovascular Portfolio and Structural Heart Aortic operating unit teams.

This role will serve as a critical member of the Business Development Strategy team and partner with cross-functional colleagues to directly influence the strategic direction of the organization. You will contribute to and lead key strategic initiatives and inorganic opportunities that will accelerate our growth. You will help identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with third parties and take responsibility for structuring and executing partnerships, acquisitions, and licenses. In this role you will help drive the overall alignment and prioritization of external opportunities with internal capabilities and vision as well as proactively identify companies and technologies to fill strategic and technical gaps. **A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Lead strategic initiatives that drive the organization forward.

+ Perform strategic, financial, and market analysis for various growth opportunities, including assessment of objectives and proposed strategic fit with those objectives.

+ Drive to clear recommendations leveraging cross-functional input from stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

+ Draft and develop annual strategic plans in coordination with enterprise processes and in collaboration with operating units within the CV Portfolio.

+ Develop financial and valuation models for strategies and transactions and identify/assess opportunities and risks including financial, operational, and integration related.

+ Partner with OU and Portfolio leadership to identify strategic needs and potential target companies/technologies to address needs.

+ Manage cross-functional due diligence activities in partnership with Business Development and Corporate Development leadership.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree plus7+ years ofexperience in a Finance, Upstream Marketing, Management Consulting, Business Development, Strategy, MA or technical role (5 years with Advanced Degree)

**Nice to Have**

+ Masters or MBA

+ Consulting experience in top global consulting firm

+ Business deal experience (investment banking, private equity or venture capital)

+ Experience working with and presenting to all levels of management including business unit GMs, operating unit presidents, and portfolio presidents

+ Cross-functional team leadership experience

+ Technical experience with a focus on the medical device industry
