Client Service DeliveryTechnology is seeking an experienced Principal Business Architect with aproven track record within the financial services industry. The ideal candidatewill become part of a technology analysis and design team that leads strategicdevelopment initiatives with respect to our global custody and cash servicesplatform. The candidate is expected to have experience with strategic businesstransformation, business process reengineering, and technology modernizationinitiatives that create new products and services, increase the efficiency ofinternal business processes, and improve client experience. The ideal candidatepossesses in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and the globalcustody business. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills areessential.

Asa Principal Business Architect, you will be responsible for the application ofarchitecture principles to business design in order to clearly link strategicobjectives to business operations and technology initiatives. Demonstratein-depth understanding of company operations, strong and broad relationshipswithin the company and across the industry, strategic understanding oftechnology, and proven ability to deliver high-impact results. Provideoperational guidance to management on the placement of the organizationscapabilities to optimize market-facing impact, internal effectiveness, andoperational efficiency. Create, document, and maintains complex business andoperating architecture models demonstrating how business units, platformoperations, and shared services interoperate within the organization. Functionas a liaison to Business and Technology partners in order to gain a broadunderstanding of industry trends and innovations, and their impact ontechnology. Provide architectural oversight of projects and ensure requirementsare in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap.Analyze and design an explicit set of disciplined actions to seek out theoptimum value for both initial and long-term investment in a new product and/orservice offering. Lead management in the understanding and use ofcapability-based planning for the business. Work with leaders to assesscapability performance, identify needs, and prioritize actions to achievedesired results.


Bachelor'sdegree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent workexperience required, advanced degree preferred 10-12 years of experience ininformation systems architecture methodologies, or an equivalent combination ofeducation and work experience required, experience in the securities orfinancial services industry is a plus.
