Lead CGM technical
teams towards accomplishing project objectives and milestones by participatingin all aspects of CGM technical project
engineering/leadership. Engineer in this role must have: (1) strong project leadership and
communication skills (2) solid engineering foundation; preferably electrical or
biomedical engineering with signal processing background (3) ability to think
and integrate at a systems level (4) project management experience and (5) be
results driven.Integrates
sensor RD effort by understanding technical initiatives and breaking these
down into smaller pieces, aligning with technical stakeholders to ensure team
is executing the right work while efficiently driving to key milestones. Ensures
successful execution by focusing on early technical de-risking, guiding sensor team
through decision making. Leverages project management skills and collaborates
with key stakeholders to create and maintain a project plan, ensuring team is
successfully advancing and staying on time.
Translates research, feasibility and knowledge of the competition into future
CGM pipeline opportunities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:


Develop clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage the triple constraints for projects (cost, time, scope)


Develop and maintain project plan/schedule and engage with technical team to deliver on milestones


Develop strong understanding of the system intra-dependencies as they relate to sensor signals, and drive requirements accordingly


Work across engineering teams (algorithms, closed loop, etc.) to manage technical effort and design integration


Manage technical risks and issues by working with technical team to develop and maintain risk burndown plan, investigating issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner


Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require use of ingenuity and creativity


Communicate progress, successes and shortcoming to senior leaders


Apply technical standards, principles and techniques to solve problems


Define and/or manage requirements, perform requirements development, analysis and verification


Apply design control procedures to project development effort


Manage internal and external customers/vendors


**BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**


**IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME**


Education Required


Bachelor degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience


**NICE TO HAVE:**


BS in Engineering preferably Electrical or Biomedical Engineering


7+ years of technical engineering experience with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities


Experience leading teams; directly applicable Project/Program Management work experience


Strong engineering/analytical/problem solving skills in a team environment


Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information to cross functional audiences and management.


Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into simplified communication


Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external customers/vendors


Capable of working on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment


High degree of initiative and self-motivation.


Advanced degree in Engineering preferably Electrical or Biomedical Engineering with a signals processing background


Project Management Professional


Prior work experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharma, aerospace, defense).


Relevant experience in systems engineering; knowledge of product concept development, requirements management, functional analysis, verification and validation
