We are seeking a dynamic, competitive and passionate Portfolio Marketing Manager to help improve the lives of people suffering from heart failure. The Portfolio Marketing Manager works as part of the Heart Failure Downstream Marketing Team to manage the global lifecycle management of the Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) portfolio, enjoying the practice of running the business post launch. This role will be responsible for managing the post-launch product portfolio, identifying areas of improvement, tracking market trends, and keeping the products aligned with the organizations broader strategy.

**A Day in the Life**


Develop robust knowledge of the CRT products and be the internal and external champion, working with the CRHF US field channel and key customers/KOLs


Lead proactive communication strategy with the US CRHF field and global partners to keep a pulse on the current business (implants, revenue) through process creation and implementation


Surface key market opportunities post launch, monitor the competitive CRT product landscape and coordinate competition-focused marketing initiatives


Collaborate with the Medtronic Customer Insights team to develop, conduct, and interpret market research to understand customer perceptions of the CRT brand


Drive global commercial excellence by delivering top line revenue and implant growth through creative, customer-centric initiatives and managing bottom line COGS and portfolio lifecycle costs


Lead portfolio forecasting process. Collaborate with the Launch Managers, Geography partners, and Patient Management business on:


-Long range planning and Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) planning


-AOP and Strategic Plan demand forecast development, update and analysis to define the overall portfolio demand


Serve as the point of contact for customer field communications post-launch for systemic opportunities and improvements.


Identify and share key business metrics to monitor and manage the health of the CRT category


Partner with product launch managers and marketing communications to design promotional plans aligned with the CRT brand strategy.


Monitor and deliver on the Claims Matrix leveraging education as an opportunity to drive additional value and brand loyalty


Manage the CRT product portfolio content management in our ongoing customer and sales training


Partner with the other functions across Medtronic to deliver programs highlighting the clinical and economic value of Medtronic CRT products and features


Ability to travel up to 25%


**Must Haves:**


Bachelors degree


4+ years in marketing, sales, sales support or operations (2 years with an Advanced Degree)


Project planning and/or process management experience


Experience working in cross functional teams


**Nice to Haves:**


MBA


Product portfolio management experience


Healthcare industry experience


Superb relationship building, interpersonal, and communication skills


Analytical and results oriented


Experienced in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
