SUMMARY: Position is responsible for managing all aspects of planning production, establishing and approving customer due dates and master scheduling. Actively supports the Companys vision and goals. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS REQUESTED OR REQUIRED:
Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.
Works cross-functionally to manage customer due dates.
Active participation in 6s, lean initiatives, continual improvement, and any other program deemed necessary by management.
Coordinate with all responsible individuals needed to resolve jobs with production problems.
Provide necessary input to colleagues and direct reports supporting the business plan and processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally in regard to the sequence of jobs to be worked on.
Active role in the daily review of problem jobs, solutions and positive sustainability.
Responsible for the correct jobs being delivered to the floor based on customer demand, using the proper tools and resources to determine.
Review, analyze and provide recommendation for corrective actions.
Play an active role in root cause and corrective action and contribute to the overall lean manufacturing plans.
Communicate status of all orders to the appropriate production support analyst.
Coordinate all responsible individuals needed to resolve jobs with production problems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises team members in the planning department. Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and procedures. Responsibilities include training team members and new team members.
QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES: In daily work, a team member is responsible to maintain or exceed the degree of excellence requested by the internal and external customers of this department. This includes following established policies, following ISO 9001 & 14001 policies, business practices, and work instructions, using problem-solving techniques to solve root causes of problems, and viewing quality as customer satisfaction.
