SUMMARY: Title and responsibilities will be determined in a progressive manner based on skill and expertise within the same job group. Manufacturing production planners are responsible for the planning processes and proper communication of the scheduled jobs with cross-functional collaboration. Actively supports the Companys vision and goals. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS REQUESTED OR REQUIRED:
Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.
Provide necessary input to colleagues supporting the business plan and processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally in regard to the sequence of jobs to be worked on.
Active role in the daily review of problem jobs, solutions and positive sustainability.
Responsible for the correct jobs being delivered to the floor based on customer demand, using the proper tools and resources to determine.
Active participation in 6s, lean initiatives, continual improvement, and any other program deemed necessary by management.
Ability to read MRP (material requirement plan) and release work orders as needed to meet internal and external customer requirements.
Review, analyze and provide recommendation for corrective actions.
Play an active role in root cause and corrective action and contribute to the overall lean manufacturing plans.
Communicate status of all orders to the appropriate production support analyst.
Coordinate all responsible individuals needed to resolve jobs with production problems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities; however, all team members are expected to self-supervise to ensure the Companies Continual Improvement philosophy and Core Values are maintained.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree and / or equivalent work experience.
