The purpose of this Phlebotomy/Central Processing Coordinator is to assist the Supervisor in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the phlebotomy and central processing sections. Performs all duties of a Lab Assistant II. Directs workflow. Designs phlebotomy/CP training program and trains new staff. \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • This job requires demonstrated experience in normal specimen handling, blood bank procedures and the delivery to phlebotomy services.\n
  • Knowledge of reference laboratories for specialty testing.\n
  • LIS, VAX-B and VAX-D proficency.\n
  • Good communciation skills. \n
