Business Overview:
US Capital Introductions is part of the broad Investor Services division and maintains relationships with institutional investors across the globe, with a focus on each investors individual investment objectives and portfolio needs in order to service our Hedge Fund clients capital raising needs. We do so in a number of ways, including:
  • We provide insight and color on key investor trends, market sentiment, asset flows and performance within the alternatives industry
  • We prepare customized business development plans for hedge fund clients, allowing them to approach the investor community intelligently and enhance their ability to raise assets from various institutional investor segments and geographies
  • We arrange 1x1 meetings, customized road shows and broader investor events to service the needs of both hedge fund clients and our institutional investors
  • We provide analysis to clients on how investors evaluate them within their overall peer universe to help guide their own marketing and communications efforts to investors
  • We provide our hedge fund clients valuable feedback from introductions that help to improve or direct their pitch more effectively
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with hedge fund clients, prospects and institutional investors to meet their individual needs
  • Organize and attend events, meetings and conference calls
  • Meet with Hedge Fund investment teams to hear from the PMs and Traders what they do and how they implement their strategies
  • Collaborate on marketing presentations for key clients and hedge fund prospects
  • Gain a working knowledge of the hedge fund players and the complex strategies they employ
  • Assist in developing our proprietary database of hedge funds and investors
  • Source referrals from investors and work with relevant clients to disseminate them
  • Generate reports and analysis for clients and the CI team
  • Gather, as well as author, market research and analysis for use by the team


Qualifications


Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 5+ years of prior financial services work experience
  • Prior Markets sales experience required

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong interest in financial markets and the people and firms that drive them
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow up and organizational skills
  • A willingness and ability to work within a strong team of senior individuals

  • Licenses Required: 7 & 63
