Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s most distinguished academic medical centers and ranked by U.S. News & World Report announces a search for 4 Pediatric Psychologists in our growing Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health.

Consultation/Liaison and Outpatient Pediatric Psychologist (2 positions): These two positions will support our growing consultation-liaison program, expanding the team beyond main campus to our regional hospitals. These positions also offer both integrated and co-located clinics with medical subspecialties in Neurology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Allergy, Sleep Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Endocrinology. Finally these positions will supervise and lead a small group of midlevel providers in Integrated Primary Care, offering warm hand-offs, brief screening/assessment and triage, brief outpatient treatment, and targeted group treatment for anxiety, mood, and behavior disorders. Opportunities to develop one’s clinical specialty also exist.

The psychologist will also take a leadership role with a team of providers, including counselors, social workers, research assistants, and graduate student trainees. ACET is currently engaged in data analyses of current and historical data of over 5000 subjects for the purpose of publication of results—this psychologist, will participate in these efforts. Leadership training and opportunities for self-selected research and clinical practice are also available.

This program emphasizes the integration of psychology within a collaborative team including physicians, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, and clinical dietitians. The primary role for this psychologist will be to provide outpatient evaluation and treatment, as well as expand the current intensive day treatment program. While this position is primarily focused on Pediatric Feeding Disorders, there are opportunities to build clinical integration in other medical divisions, (e.g., Complex Care, Gastroenterology). This psychologist will also participate in supervising master’s level providers in both outpatient and intensive day treatment settings. There are also opportunities for program development and integration of clinical and quality improvement research.
