As a member of ourPeripheral Vascular Heath (PVH) OU Operations teamin Medtronic, plc, we ensure Operations functional support to the Product Development Core Teams. This position represents Operations on Development projects and provides leadership to an extended project team comprised of individuals from Manufacturing Operations, Process Development, Supply Chain Planning, Quality, Sourcing, Supplier Quality, and other functions as needed to drive successful development and commercialization of new products.

This position is responsible for the overall operations aspects including value stream selection, planning, execution and successful implementation of activities in the development and introduction of new products. The Program Manager has the responsibility to ensure that the voice of operations is properly captured, and all team commitments and project contract metrics are met and communicated in a timely manner.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

As a program manager you lead and leverage cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.

Manage co-ordinate the operational aspects of ongoing PDP projects in PVH and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Gathers business requirements, management of requirements to ensure they meet business and stakeholder needs.

Assesses project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and business goals and objectives.

Actively coach and mentor extended operations team

Indirect People Management Development

You will drive the use of Design, Reliability Manufacturability methodology (DRM), and FTQ to develop best in class technologies for the manufacture of our new medical device product ranges

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

Advanced Engineering degree or related discipline and desirably with 7+ years experience in a similar role

You are experienced with medical device new product development and have a strong proven track record in project/program management.

Dynamic team player and proven influencer that can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams

Good communicator and fluent in English, with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation.

Good organizational, presentation and project management skills are necessary
