As a Project Lead / Sr. Business Analyst for Finance workstream of the consent order program for GWM within the PBWM, you will be part of a strategic team dedicated to the identification and remediation of key gaps in the Financial domain across Financial Resource Management, Data, Books & Records, Planning and Reporting processes executed by GWM (Private Bank) with responsibility for participating in future state process design, requirements for supporting platforms and testing and implementation of both across all workstreams. In close partnership with PBWM, ICG, EO&T and the overall Citi wide Consent Order Program/Project teams this role will ensure rollout of a strategically designed future state global process including a delivery of standardized, sustainable, efficient, well-controlled operational technology and processes that will support the goals of the Finance consent order program.


The team will be responsible for defining, implementing, and sustaining key controls, and key operational and organizational metrics for the defined processes in alignment with Finance Target Operating Model and Consent Order strategic initiative.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Leadership role in the analysis and development of both tactical and strategic remediation plans to address specific gaps in the Consent Order analysis.

+ Active participation in working group sessions, strategy planning and various reviews sessions to identify and facilitate creation of detailed action plans and commitments to Consent Order targets.

+ Participate in cross functional working groups among Data, Infrastructure, Process and Governance standardization for key reporting functions, including Books & Records, Reporting and Data.

+ Participate in the production of updated operational procedures and control documentation.

+ Maintain constant dialog with Project Management to highlight issues with the overall Consent Order action plans.

+ Understand the implications of the changes proposed by Consent Order working group in reporting processes

+ Respond to ad-hoc queries by the business and engage with them for additional analysis if required.

+ Conduct process and system testing and document and disseminate results

+ Support systems change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information

+ Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational support


QUALIFICATIONS:


+ Bachelors / Masters Degree in Technology / Finance/Accounting

+ Strong background in Business analysis of large/complex programs

+ Strong background in one or more of the Operations disciplines or areas of Finance

+ 10+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or business-related fields in Financial Services

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access.

+ Proven skills in leadership, operational discipline, problem solving and decision-making skills

+ Clear and concise communication (written, verbal) skills

+ Strong analytical skills, acting as an expert or advisor on Accounting and Close matters

+ Experience with process reengineering / process improvement, design and implementation of accounting and closing processes

+ A bias for action, self-motivated and skilled at motivating & influencing team members and stakeholders

+ Global awareness and global business orientation

+ For US, must have US work authorization, this position is not sponsoring visas
