**Description:**


- The Pan Asia salesperson will have primary coverage of the firms key long only and hedge funds accounts located in New York, with a focus on growing impact, market share and broker votes


- Marketing Citis fundamental Pan Asia equity research product, and delivering alpha-enhancing ideas to our client base from the daily morning research call, discussions with analyst and/or from analysts or corporate meetings


- Arranging for and scheduling numerous research analyst, sr management, deal-related, and non-deal roadshows in New York


- Work with various internal partners in research, ECM, corporate access, derivatives, delta one, prime and trading to generate client dialogue and consumption of Citi research, products and events


- Monetize all client consumption


**Position Objective:**


- This institutional equity sales position is for a VP or Director level salesperson to be based in New York, with at least 6+years of Asia financial markets experience, specific market knowledge of China/Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, India, Indonesia, Japan and Australia with deep client relationships with the investor base located in New York.


- The sales person will work across the Citi franchise, and partner with execution, delta 1, derivatives, research, equity capital markets, prime, platform services and also work alongside US and International equity departments


- Top 3 advisory ranks with priority accounts


- active client coverage with an aim to drive growth in marketshare, revenue and profitability


- successful execution of deal and non deal roadshows (corporate and analysts)


- working in the local office of New York and developing strong ties to the region


**Key Responsibilities:**


- market the firms advisory services (fundamental research, strategy and economics) along with equity capital market transactions (initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, convertibles ect). The salesperson will have active client coverage responsibilities with the aim to drive growth in revenue and profitability.


- the sales person will cover the firms most important and sophisticated institutional clients and work in conjunction with our partners in the Institutional Client Group and Global Markets to deliver exceptional advisory services and resources


**Qualifications:**


- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or an equivalent field


- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, with a keen focus on attention to detail


- 6+ years of experience in Pan Asia Institutional equity sales


- Resourceful, independent thinker and self motivator who can excel in an evolving industry


- a strong team player willing to work across products and geographic lines


- ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment


- series 7, 63 licenses
