      • Color science
      • NTSC & PAL standards
      • Digital video standards
      • Resolution and sensitivity measurements (MRTD, MRC, NETD, MTF, etc)
      • Knowledge of Optical Design software (CodeV or Zemax)
      • Knowledge of range performance modeling tools (Modtran, NVTherm, SSCam, etc) an asset

        What We Can Offer You

Its fascinating work that is complex and challenging. But you’re rewarded with true work/life balance, multiple opportunities to explore other areas of the company all across the country.

There is a significant amount of dimensionality to our work here - whether its design or new product integration, or developing new imaging features and applications.  We think differently, we see things differently but the most significant element of our team is that we offer real depth to the role of an Electro Optical Engineer. We all perform verification testing, we all participate in design engineering and we take an active role in new design concepts and new product launches.

We carefully design our capabilities in such a way as to exploit the absolute most value from our optical  systems. Our engineering teams make sure our designs are not fragile, and that they live up to the reputation that our systems were built on.

We collaborate regularly with our product designers and of course, mentor our junior engineers.  We track and report design progress (or technical risks) to our leadership team and we play a large role in the project planning / how best to resource the team for upcoming projects.
