Optane Sales Specialist

Job Description
  • This role is responsible for enabling the business unit's Intel Optane Group sales strategy through Taiwan ODM, LOEM, Disti, channel, and consumption sales teams in order to achieve country Optane KPI.
  • The sales specialist will accomplish this by driving alignment between the business unit and Taiwan ODM, LOEM, Disti, channel and consumption sales teams related to product strategy, market dynamics/customer trends, and sales targets.
  • Responsible for Taiwan sales team activities including partner and ecosystem alignment, deal closure support, solution sales training, and issue/opportunity management. Acts as a storage business subject matter expert to Taiwan ODM, LOEM, Disti, channel and consumption sales.


Required Skills

  • Good understanding of the Optane PMem business strategy
  • Strong knowledge of Storage, Memory, SSD, HDD markets and competitive environment
  • Identify new business opportunities to grow Intel's memory and storage business
  • Proven skills to conduct complex business negotiation inclusive of pricing, supply, alliances and multiparty business agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and influence executives in key decision-making situations
  • Extensive experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders to obtain required support and achieve sales results in the field
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with proven ability to execute effectively across matrixed teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Desired Skills

  • Existing relationship with end user customers and/or ODM, LOEM, channel, consumption sales team in Taiwan


  • 7+ years of sales experience working directly with Decision Makers in the Enterprise market
  • BS degree in Business, IT Management, Engineering, or other relevant business and technical field required
