Ops Support Intermediate Analyst

**Key Responsibilities: -**

+ Supports oversight and delivery of large multi-faceted project or multiple projects in Operations at the same time

+ Uses best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan, manage a RAID log, maintain meeting minutes to track project progress and support reviews / audits.

+ Drives end results of the project as a representative of Operations. Prepares, maintains, and submits clear and concise activity/progress reports /management reports on Operations projects

+ Applies a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project participant progress against project goals. Proactively discover potential problems & highlight project risks

+ Work closely with Core Operations leads & Managers across Third Party vendor and UK teams to ensure delivery of projects. This would require vertical & horizontal stakeholder management

+ Work closely with Operations Change Manager in ensuring timely and successful implementation of change and support post change evaluation

+ Identifies and where required amends the approach to the context and constraints of each project engaging right owners to resolve any issues

+ Constantly improving their own and their teams skills through lessons-learned reviews at project completion and applies to future projects.

+ Communicates to all concerned parties project milestones, status updates, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues

+ Proactively follows escalation and change control processes. Owns all management reports on a given engagement

+ Promotes good working relationships across a project, cultivating the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among all of a project's stakeholders: its sponsors, those who will make use of the project's results, those who command the resources needed, and the project team members

The role has high development value since it requires working with diverse business areas, a detailed understanding of systems, Operational and regulatory processes, and a bottom-line focus on improvement of the customer experience.



+ 5 years of project management experience preferably in financial services environment

+ Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.

+ Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.

+ Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

+ Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.

+ Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.

+ Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional.



+ Good verbal and written communication skills

+ Flexible and prepared to work in a variety of functions

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

+ High level of accuracy and attention to detail

+ Evidence of using effective planning and organizing skills in a previous role.

+ Stakeholder management


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred


+ Adaptive to change in a continually changing business environment.

+ Work effectively with diverse team
