The Amazon Robotics (AR) Operations organization manufactures high-quality robotics and gets the right materials to the right place at the right time to enable our automated solutions. It€™s a fast-paced operation that works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon globally, and is driven by data and performance indicators. The Ops New Production Introduction (NPI) Technical Program Manager (TPM) will be responsible for driving operations development programs with Amazon Robotics and Amazon Scout. The role will own cross-functional communications and strategic planning for manufacturing and supplying a new product from prototype to high volume. In this position you will be responsible for determining KPIs, scoping and delivering large end-to-end projects for manufacturing, supply chain and test, collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, and driving project schedules from design to full production. As an Ops NPI TPM, you will provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

· Develop and manage integrated schedules and project plans.
· Work closely with supply chain and engineering teams across geographies to drive prototype and production material.
· Coordinate with design engineering to drive release of product design documents.
· Develop and manage detailed program schedules and report weekly progress and risks.
· Provide regular updates to senior leadership teams across multiple sites and functions.
· Coordinate the development of manufacturing tools, processes, and infrastructure.
· Facilitate successful internal and external Alpha and Beta testing.
· Drive development of program specific quality plans across multiple teams.
· Write business and operational planning documents for the NPI project teams.
· Create and execute integration plans to provide Manufacturing Operations services to new Amazon teams and/or new Amazon products.
· Identify and recommend programs across the AR Operations department on behalf of NPI programs.


· Bachelor€™s degree.
· 3+ years€™ experience involving program management in a complex technology context,.
· Ability to deliver multiple first-of-their-kind projects or programs with aggressive schedules.
· Experience and proven skill in written and verbal business communications, including writing white papers, designing organizational communications, reporting metrics, generating useful management and control reports, and articulating business cases for executive audiences.
· Familiar with all facets of operations manufacturing from prototype to high volume products.
· Demonstrated understanding of product release cycle as it relates to the creation and change management of parts and BOM structures.
· Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope, and prioritize product requirements to ensure operational and manufacturing success.
· Has managed and/or worked effectively to influence large teams. Able to work well across functional groups and geographies/time zones, and successfully influence others to get things done.
· Strong grasp of project management tools. Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
Able to travel up to 25% when travel conditions permit, open to periods of more frequent travel as required for special projects.


· Robotics, and/or product development experience a plus.
· Experience analyzing data in SQL and Tableau.
· MBA or advanced Operations Research, Supply Chain, or Engineering degree preferred.
· Uses a strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
· Ability to devise frameworks and mechanisms to resolve work streams and prioritize projects.
· Experience in manufacturing/operations/supply chain analysis, and/or process improvement (eg. Lean Six Sigma).
· Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings.
· Willing to €œroll up sleeves and do what needs to get done€ to consistently deliver results.
