Operations & Technology Support Analyst (SAS/Python preferred)

Operations and Technology delivers top of line products and services to our customers across every product line that the bank offers. Operations & Technology plays a central role in driving value for Citi and its clients. It provides the foundation that enables Citi to achieve its day-to-day operational and its long-term growth goals.


+ Operations and Technology operates in the following business lines.

+ Treasury and Trade Services Ops (TTS Ops)

+ Securities & Banking Ops (S&B Cards)

+ Securities and Fund Services Ops (SFS Ops)

+ Consumer Ops

+ Operations and Technology Risk and Control (OTRC)

+ General Services

+ Ensuring smooth and error free delivery of the projects/ work assignments as per the project objectives.

+ Participate in the automation and standardization initiatives assigned.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and assist in regulatory and financial inspections.

+ Understanding rules, regulations and policies across Citi and how these are interconnected and aggregated

+ Building knowledge of different markets, products, strategies and associated issues/risks

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ NAM: 3.5+/4.0 APAC: 3.3+/4.0

+ Awareness of recent technologies and their application

+ Ability to work efficiently within team environments and as an individual contributor

+ Strong communication skills (both written & verbal) at all organizational levels

+ have experience in job automation with skills of SAS / Python preferred


+ Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

+ APAC: Graduate / Post Graduate with 2- 3 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

Utilize fraud tools to detect fraudulent transactions / applications for consumer bank products

Perform data mining for Common Purchase Point identification to detect fraud

Handle fraud case investigation with stakeholder / customers

Perform loss recognition and customer refund timely

Monitor chargeback recovery timeliness Conduct fraud reporting to associations

Assist in the MCA / QAF / CitiRisk controls

Participate in projects / system release / UAT / PAT

Work with KLCSC to meet KPI and Operation standard

Handle fraud escalation

Compile management information per local / regional / regulatory requirements

Perform fraud assessment on new service / process

Support review on suspicious accounts

Support various office routine (COB drill, record retention)
