Citi is growing our Private Bank franchise by providing highly sophisticated institutional-level solutions along with traditional private banking offerings such as trust and lending.


The Operations Support Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.


**Key Responsibilities:**


+ Manage global and trust center specific functions owned by EMEA based TRUST Ops team and local processes/teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and cultivating a robust service and control environment

+ Client Financial Statement production (Balance Sheet and P&L, and cash flow statement for certain jurisdictions) and reviews for each trust and PIC on an annual basis

+ Document Management and Control Imaging, Vaulting and Archiving of Documents

+ Corporate Reporting booking journal entries, execute payments, reconcile the monthly Trust revenue for the different legal books; ensure reconciliations are performed in time

+ Support global fee billing process and partner with Global Fee Billing Unit for reviews and billing cycle

+ Own and lead escalation of trust operations issues and regulatory breaches

+ Own communication and problem resolution, lead regional and support global operations audits

+ Represent TRUST Operations at BRCC, Monthly Governance & Controls and Risk forums, TRUST board meetings and other country governance committees as required by Citi policies and standards.

+ Partner with Business stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure current and future client demand is meet and exceeded

+ Leverage technology to automate controls and streamline processes

+ Responsible for effectively identifying and managing the business risk and ensuring that the teams performance standards are met

+ Responsible to establish/retain strong and diverse talent for supporting the function


**Requirements:**


+ Min. 5+ years of experience within Trust or wealth management operations

+ Leadership skills / proven experience of managing teams

+ Extensive knowledge of Accounting concepts and Principles

+ Good understanding of financial instruments and markets

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Highly effective influencing, relationship management and collaboration skills

+ Experience driving cross-functional technical implementations

+ Excellent written and oral English

+ Business Management, Accounting / finance or related university degree

+ IFRS knowledge an advantage

+ Ability to integrate and work in a global work environment

+ Adaptability to different work cultures

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy of work

+ Results oriented, able to organize and prioritize work

+ Metrics driven and ability to apply technology to automate and improve efficiency of manual processing tasks
