Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs)
- Radio Frequency Control
The Product Manager works within the Radio Frequency Control organization -
Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits
Surface Acoustic Waves (
SAWs), and Radio Frequency Heads (RF) and reports to the Sr. Product Manager.
This person is responsible for all facets of multiple products for overall execution and customer intimacy with full accountability and authority for leading and managing those products successfully.
This includes responsibility for managing schedule and cost performance.
The MMIC Product Manager acts as the primary interface with the customer and/or the appropriate Program Operations Manager(s) to ensure continued alignment with customer requirements and product execution. This position will require the ability to coordinate and effectively operate among multiple Raytheon Technologies Business Units, Production and Development programs and various levels of Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Estimating & Pricing
Key Job Functions:
Drive the day to day execution cadence (battle rhythm) of the products they support.
Preparing, revising, updating and monitoring appropriate materials to ensure compliance with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and other specific processes. (ie. Latest Revised Estimate (LRE)/Estimate at Complete (EAC), Export/Import (EXIM), etc.).
Ensure Top-level Master Phasing and the Integrated Master Schedules meet product strategies, objectives and milestones.
Lead the product meetings, working programmatic and technical issues as well as Risk and Opportunities
Lead the effort to produce audit and fact finding responses requested by the customer and DCMA/DCAA.
Work with Operations and Engineering to implement and drive closure of corrective actions as warranted.
Facilitate discussions between the product team and the customer to develop product strategies.
Coordinate customer reviews; prepare for customer visits.
Lead preparation for Independent Reviews (IRs); support IPDS Gate reviews
Ensure contract deliverables status is tracked and regularly reported to leadership.
Lead product Proposal development within the Radio Frequency Control organization.
Lead/ensure Earned Value process is implemented and compliant each month.
Deploy Best Practices on the program.
Required Skills:
6 years of experience as project manager or team lead for complex programs or projects managing cost, schedule and performance for complex programs or projects.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Desired Skills:

Ability to lead by example and provide clear goals and direction and motivation to the team to meet all procedural and customer goals
Ability to work across business areas, manage diverse tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines
Demonstrated strong communications (oral, written, interpersonal) skills at all levels of the Company; individual team members up through senior management
Program Manager Certification, training, or equivalent
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Applied Physics, or related field or Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
