What You'll Do

The primary goal of the Sales and Planning Large Initiative team is to accelerate strategy implementation of large-scale change efforts. This is achieved by building a coalition to size, develop and govern the cross-functional implementation plan and lead pilots prior to going mainstream. The nature of our work is highly cross-functional, connecting all the different parts across customer life-cycle sales motions and highly visible, often tied to company-wide transformation. We are the lead orchestrators of the entire Sales Operations and interface across all operating groups within Cisco to ensure strategy implementations post strategy formation by Go-to-Market Strategy & Planning and/or by Sales Leadership Team. Key areas of this role:

  • Translate strategy into implementation
  • Define implementation plans to deliver to committed outcomes in the business case.
  • Solve key business decisions. Keeping program budget, scope, and delivery on track
  • Business integration: Enable business readiness to adopt new capabilities and processes
  • Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of subject matter experts, program/project managers & product owners at various levels.

Who You'll Work With

  • You will lead and collaborate across various cross-functional teams that make up the extended team including Sales, Service, Partner, CX, Operations and Finance to develop and execute implementation plans as well as executive partners across Cisco.
  • You will be encouraged to influence across Director, Sr Director, VP and SVP levels

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct line of control
  • Great collaborative skills and solid experience leading large-scale transformation projects in a global, complex and virtual team environment
  • Flexible, inventive, and resilient; flourishes with ambiguity and change
  • Ability to work independently, while achieving desired results
  • Confirmed ability to execute with a track record of delivering results across large cross-functional initiatives
  • A broad business understanding Including Ciscos go to market strategy, business models and sales motions
  • Minimum 15 years experience (ideally in sales operations)
  • College degree required
