Operational Improvements, Medicare Part D Clinical Operations Advisor

**Job Description**

The Operational Improvements, Medicare Part D Clinical Operations Advisor, is responsible for supporting the Med D Operations Teams strategy to achieve operational excellence and provide consistent, accurate outcomes for our beneficiaries. In this role you must be able to solve complex problems, lead and perform root cause analysis, propose solutions, assist with design, testing, measurement, and change management. You will be a vital contributor to the improvements in systems reliability, workflow, productivity, cost, and quality. You will also be involved in planning, design and execution of key projects. You'll be joining a group that operates in focused project teams and/or be a major contributor to larger project teams. You must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the coverage determination and appeals process and assist in meeting client expectations regarding efficiency, service levels, privacy maintenance, system reliability, and workflow. You'll work as part of the team to meet business unit objectives and will be responsible for applying critical thinking to their strategies, as well as completing data analysis and various cross functional projects.

**Required Qualifications**

- 1 or more years of experience with a pharmacy benefit manager

- 3 or more years of experience with Medicare Part D and/or Medicare B

- 2 or more years Project Management experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks on a regular basis with high level of detail

- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills and interpersonal skills

- Customer Service internally and externally

- Adaption to Change Management

- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail

- Ability to work in a high production, time sensitive environment

- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

- Demonstrates resourcefulness in problem-solving

- Displays confidence in the ability to learn complex material

- Computer Knowledge including: Microsoft office products, Windows based operations, data entry and clinical systems


- Bachelors Degree required, or equivalent experience may be considered. Masters degree or above is preferred.
