Join Harborview Medical Center's Psychiatric Emergency Services as an ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant Certified, 75% FTE (30 hours per week), Days Shift position.

The Psychiatry Emergency Services the ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant Certified performs psychiatric evaluations and physical exams under the clinical supervision of an attending psychiatrist. The ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant Certified works in collaboration with the team psychiatrists, social workers, RNs, MAs and support personnel. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, recording health histories, performing physical exams, initiating diagnostic procedures and, depending on licensure, managing health problems including alcohol and drug withdrawal.

REQUIREMENTS:
Licensure as either an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the State of Washington or a Physician's Assistant (PA-C) in the State of Washington, or equivalent legal license/certification; must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the organized medical staff of the hospital under Medical Staff By-Laws for Hospital-based positions.
