Microsoft DevOps Server Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Seattle, WA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Microsoft DevOps Server Application Development Manager in Seattle, WA to oversee the Cloud Transformation and drive the DevOps maturity for clients Communications, Media and Tech Software Platforms. S/he will perform the following duties: work closely with multiple project owners and delivery teams in an advisory role, providing them updated standards, guidelines and implementation patterns as it relates to Modern Engineering Ops Models, Cloud Operating Model, Continuous Integration Tools and Techniques, DevOps Architecture, Microsoft Azure DevOps and Cloud Automation DevOps; finalize an implementation plan on modernizing and onboarding their platform to the Cloud and DevOps; provide regular status reports on the progress of the modernization efforts to the clients Global Technology Services Directors and direct reports; build the technical capabilities of the various project and delivery teams on Cloud Transformation and DevOps technologies for ongoing support of these platforms.




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


This position requires at least a bachelors degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in IT, including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in setup and management of continuous delivery, build and deployment with Azure DevOps Pipelines or GITHUB Actions or DroneCI or Jenkins; 2 years of experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code for Provisioning and Configuration like Powershell, Chef and Terraform; 5 years of experience in setting up and configuring event management, incident response and configuration management platforms like New Relic, App Insights, VictorOps and Status Page; 3 years of experience in conducting tool analysis using a DevOps professional assessment tool, providing a DevOps assessment recommendation and getting client stakeholder buy-off on tool selection as part of the client's DevOps maturity journey and platform modernization initiatives; 5 years of experience in outlining a detailed deployment, implementation, risk and issue mitigation plan involving multiple teams.
