**Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.**

The Programs Operations Manager for one of the Target Programs will provide operational focus (Cost, Quality, Schedule) for the program. The candidate will be responsible for the overall Operational performance for the lifecycle of the program. This includes proposal through delivery/launch. The Program Operations Manager will act as the senior Operations leader on the program with accountability to the Program Manager and Target Programs Operations Manager. The Program Operations Manager will have responsibility to ensure all operations aspects of the program from material procurement to finished product delivery are properly planned and executed in accordance with the Program Execution Plan. This includes establishing needs and driving delivery of Engineering products and support as required to support the program schedule.

Responsibilities Include:

+ Oversee all proposal efforts for the Operations team
+ Oversee all Material, Manufacturing and I&T Master Schedule baselining efforts
+ Develop and execute an Operations Plan for the Program
+ Provide the necessary leadership to transition new program products from development to manufacturing and I&T.
+ Ensure engineering structure (drawings and build documentation) are developed for manufacturability, efficiency, affordability and configured for incorporation into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Material Resource Planning (MRP).
+ Oversee development, updates & improvements of build documentation for I&T.
+ Generate Production Readiness Reviews
+ Develop manufacturing and I&T assembly and manpower forecast for the program.
+ Oversee all hardware in Central Manufacturing and ensure hardware is prioritized accurately to support the program schedule.
+ Lead effort to establish and maintain a Program Daily Activity Schedule (DAS) for manufacturing and I&T activities.
+ Oversee activities of Supply Chain to ensure all material is ordered on time, tracked and if delayed, develop a path forward.
+ Liaison between Program Manager and Integrated Operations Group (Material Program Manager (MPM), planning, manufacturing, I&T and logistics).
+ Develop program operations status and metrics on a regular basis and present to management and the customer.
+ Ensure hardware is completed on time to support program schedule.
+ Responsible for managing material, integration and logistics activities for field campaigns.
+ Sponsor continuous improvement team for the program
+ Change agent to improve material flow and empowerment within manufacturing and I&T utilizing lean practices and visual management.
+ Manage Control Accounts (CAM) for operations activities.
+ Provide an operations presence with program HW/SW change boards to ensure design changes to the vehicle or Ground Support Equipment (GSE) have been properly vetted with operations/manufacturing schedules, operational build/test impacts, and feasibility to execute the changes.
+ Responsible for managing the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for the Program


**Basic Qualifications:**
Minimum of 10 (ten)years directly related experience and a Bachelors degree.

With Master degree 7 years minimum experience acceptable
