Overview

The Jr. Account Manager is primarily responsible for the management and execution of a national retail program that meet and exceed client expectations and performance metrics.  This position will include managing aspects of the client relationship including day to day processes and one-off initiatives. With the cross collaboration with internal shared services, senior leadership, field management and outside vendors, the Jr. Account Manager will manage field and management communication channels as well as executive level reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions of this Position (list in order of most important to least important):1. Act as supporting point of contact with client, maintain relationships and assist with strategic planning. Help manage execution of all client-specific initiatives working cross-departmentally within Mosaic. 2. Guide timeliness and accuracy of reporting and tracking mechanisms for performance metrics that help drive results and compliance. 3. Define, monitor and give feedback on key performance metrics, provide overall direction to the team and take appropriate actions when metrics are not met.4. Work with internal support services to ensure that the services are aligned to deliver client expectations and that the services are delivered effectively.5. Manage training content within learning platform to ensure up-to-date relevant content for current and new hire associates.6. Develop and facilitate communication and training strategies that effectively inform and positively influence compliance and associate engagement. 7. Support short and long-term strategic direction for the team and identify the necessary services and resources required to implement the strategy.8. Continually seek opportunities to improve processes and develop and implement efficiencies9. Work with leaders to develop and manage field performance measurement tools (scorecard, reports, key performance indicators, etc.10. Crisis management - identify field issues and collaborate to develop solutions.11. Track and maintain all event budgets, responsible for the bottom line delivery of projects. 12. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements: \u2022 Bachelors Degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications or any similar combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs category mgmt or 3 yrs food brokerage):\u2022 3+ years of project management experience in an agency, retail, merchandising, or marketing environment.\u2022 Proven success in client relationship development, management, retention, and growth.\u2022 Previous experience dealing with partner agencies.

 

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. \u201cplan-a-gram\u201d software expertise, presentation skills):\u2022 Professional attitude and strong leadership skills.\u2022 Possess superior observational, analytical, and communication skills.\u2022 Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills by effectively assessing challenges and operating with a solution-oriented mentality.\u2022 Self-motivated and proactive with strong organizational skills, and the ability to schedule tasks and people to meet program goals. \u2022 Superior interpersonal skills to work closely with other team members and the client\u2022 Impeccable follow-u and follow through skills\u2022 Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and aptitude to work in a digital work environment.\u2022 Strong client communication skills (insight, analysis, and program reporting) with excellent verbal, written and presentation abilities. \u2022 Generally, Monday through Friday, but must be flexible in evenings and/or weekends from time to time, specifically during peak retail or project timeframes.
