Perspecta has an immediate need for a Messaging Administrator in San Diego, CA.

As part of the Perspecta organization the Messaging Administrator will support a variety of Messaging solutions as well as the Messaging Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be able to help make strategic decisions pertaining to the development and maintenance of the messaging infrastructure, have excellent troubleshooting skills, and be able to maintain good relationships within the team as well as with our clients. Windows Server2008/2012 skills, strong Microsoft Exchange experience and a thorough understanding of email routing and communication are a must. Understanding of PKI, IIS (OWA), firewall, proxy server, HBSS and Mobility is also beneficial.


Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

3 5 years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Qualifications and Requirements:

-Secret Clearance

-Security+

-Strong Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and 2013 knowledge and experience

-Microsoft Office 365 / Exchange Online knowledge and experience

-Active Directory knowledge and experience

-Strong problem solving, priority settings and collaborations skills

-Ability to execute proactively and safely in large and evolving environment

-Ability to clearly explain issues and drive directions to other teams

-Good verbal and written communications skills

Preferred experience:

-Symantec Mail Gateway knowledge and experience

-Veritas Enterprise Vault knowledge and experience

-DoD STIG process and procedures exposure

-McAfee HBSS familiarity

-IIS 7.x familiarity
