**A Day in the Life**


Our Belgian sales team builds strong and lasting business relationships with hospital
staff, medical associations and opinion leaders. Together, we use our deep
clinical, therapeutic and economic expertise to address todays complex
healthcare challenges and to transform healthcare. Our main task is to present
and sell our products/services to current and potential clients. Furthermore,
we provide excellent clinical/technical support and education in collaboration
with the sales force.


We offer you a positionwhere you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding
established program targets within a given geographical territory. We expect
you to be able to learn and comprehend complex medical and scientific information,
maximize client brand, achieve daily sales call activities and client
deliverables by gaining access to decision makers and influencing product
usage. You will be responsible for the sales of our market leading medical devices
to assigned hospitals and related healthcare professionals.


In this field Sales Representative role you
will focus on stakeholder management within Healthcare, acquisition,
maintenance of existing relationships, clinical advice, training, pre/after
sales and often Operational Room activities.


We are looking for an experienced professional who has a demonstrated
ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects while establishing
trusted partnerships with key staff at the hospitals, including Clinical and
non-Clinical Stakeholders. Previous experience with DMU management is a must.
This is a challenging but rewarding role, allowing you to define and execute
your own sales strategies in order to meet the set targets.


You will be primarily responsible for selling the full range of products
in assigned accounts or regions in a professional manner to hospitals and
related healthcare professionals as well as for the management of quality and
consistency of product and service delivery. You will build strong ethical
business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain
greater market share, leading through clinical selling. We expect you to
cooperate and coordinate activities with Key Account Management team and the
other divisions within Medtronic to maximize business opportunities.


It will be your job to meet (or preferably exceed) financial and
non-financial targets in a way that enhances Medtronics reputation in the
market. In this commercial position you will fulfill several tasks in the field
of sales management, ranging from market analyses and developing sales
strategies to performing sales activities such as product introductions and
support technical procedures when necessary. You will identify and address all
key decision makers, opinion leaders and referrals, extend existing accounts
and develop entirely new ones.


Building strong and lasting business relationships is another important
task. Just as identifying and preparing upcoming tenders, market trends and
competitors information. We expect youto act, make decisions,
andcontribute to achieving and exceeding of sales budget, implementation
of sales plan and growing existing business as well as managing customer relations
at all levels in your territory. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to
attend and facilitate congresses, workshops and any required marketing
function. You will also enlarge client base in assigned territory and develop a
business case for procedural growth.


We are looking for a hands-on individual with a commercial mindset. To
be successful in this role very strong interpersonal and communication skills
are required. You have proven to be results and quality oriented, integer,
innovative and continuously learning. You can communicate persuasively,
demonstrate product knowledge, display knowledge of key customers.In this role you contribute to building
strong relationships and customer loyalty.

**DIABETES**


Diabetes is the world leader in integrated diabetes
management solutions, including insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose
monitoring, algorithm development and therapy management software.


**RESTORATIVE THERAPIES GROUP (RTG)**


The RTG develops life-restoring healthcare solutions in
therapies such as spine, brain (neurological disorders and diseases and
surgical technologies for neuro procedures), pain and specialty therapies (urologic
and gastrointestinal disorders); conditions of the ear, nose and throat; and
electrosurgical products for soft tissue dissection and hemostatic sealing of
soft tissue and bone.


**Must have**


Bachelor or masters degree


Fluent in Dutch or French


Professional English level


Located in Belgium


3+ years of experience in commercial or clinical environment (Medical Devices/ MedTech/ Healthcare/ Pharma)


Knowledge of Belgian Hospitals/ Healthcare System


You dispose of the ability and willingness to teach and educate colleagues and customers


Strong sense of responsibility, stress resistance and flexibility


Sales/ Commercial driven, business minded and with an entrepreneurial spirit


You are service-oriented team player concerned with helping people, both internally and externally


Presentation and negotiation skills


You show strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in writing and speaking


High motivation, enthusiastic attitude, being comfortable with change and growth


Excellent organizational, interpersonal, persuasive and analytical skills


You demonstrate the ability to work on projects/duties, both independently as well as in a larger team


**Nice to have**


Operation room experience


Product launch, territory planning and forecasting experience a plus


Experience with SalesForce.com


Experience with Tender management or project management


Fluency in both French and English/ bilingual skills in both languages are our strong preference
