Job Description

The Media, Social and Community Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing media and social media programs as well as engaging with the tech community in the country.

This position resides in Field Marketing and works closely with the global social media, tech community and brand teams for guidance in social media and tech community strategy and management, brand governance, brand advertising campaigns, as well as the agency management.

The Media, Social and Community Marketing Specialist will advise in the development of a strategic framework that clearly defines and articulates Intel's value proposition in the industry, as well as advise on and deliver messaging and communications activities thru different communication vehicles in the country.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Intel technologies and communication vehicles to help shape marketing/communications strategy and manage executions, including media and social media management as well as tech community engagement, to support Intel marketing campaigns and branding advocacy in the country.
  • Ensure delivery of communications and local social media/tech community/brand execution that are aligned with Headquarters' guidance.
  • Work with internal stakeholders closely and guide country external agency teams to localize relevant creative briefs and project mapping, to create and implement local relevant contents as well as to conduct social listening, ensuring that proper strategic direction is developed and maintained throughout the creative, implementation and review process.
  • Partner with in-country product marketing leads to align on objectives, programs, KPIs to execute on creative briefs and agency partners. Manage approvals, feedback, and input from multiple stakeholders.


A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Broad skill set, with experience in communications spanning social/digital/print media and tech community, integrated campaigns and optimizing their architecture and rollout.
  • Good understanding of PC/IT industry and technologies. Early adopter of technology.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and manage expectations of all groups affected.
  • Ability to understand and translate marketing objectives and strategies clearly and concisely in partnership with external agency.
  • Willing to develop and maintain strong relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Strong written, communication and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree required. Marketing or EE/computer science background would be desirable.
  • 5+ years of marketing experiences on social media, tech community and/or advertising. Branding management experiences would be a plus.
  • Media, social media and tech community professional experience within well-known, industry leading, global B2C or B2B businesses, with track record of implementing strategic, proactive, innovative communications.
