Measurement, Reporting & Industry Developments Lead

The Data Transformation team drives data governance strategy for the firms data and the adoption of consistent standards and capabilities.

The Measurement, Reporting & Industry Developments Leader works in close partnership with the Privacy Data Lead and Records Management Data Lead, as well as multiple businesses and functions across the firm, to lead the program focused on high quality and engaging reporting that leverages both internal and external data points.

**Reporting Line:** To Data Transformation Lead Data Privacy, Use & Records Management (Beverley Aspeling)


The Measurement, Reporting & Industry Developments Lead will establish and lead the program to monitor and report on the Data transformation activities both within the ECDO Privacy & Records Management team, and also more broadly across other functions in the bank. Responsibilities include:

+ Establishment of the consolidated reports that demonstrate progress against objectives

+ Establishment of a Project Office to monitor, track and report on initiatives delivering Data Transformation objectives, both within the Privacy and Records Management team and more broadly across other functions within the bank

+ Monitoring and reporting on external industry developments relating to Privacy and Records Management and building a network of industry peers

+ Establishment of the Governance framework for Data Privacy and Records Management

+ Identification, monitoring and reporting on Data risks and controls relevant to Privacy and Records Management

+ Developing and executing on a stakeholder engagement and communication plan

+ Developing and executing on a training plan

+ Management of the teams budgeting and financial reporting processes

+ Ad hoc support for Regulatory Enquiries as required


+ A strong understanding of how to establish effective governance, monitoring and reporting processes to enable measurement of progress

+ Driving the initiative to monitor relevant external industry developments & able to effectively engage with peers

+ Lead development of metrics, and develop simple repeatable process to produce them on regular cadence.

+ Coordinate and drive presentations to all audiences

+ Ensure we have a diverse team and a positive culture of inclusion.


+ 10+ years of overall business management experience in a complex, financial organization, with particular focus in the data space highly preferred.

+ Requires a solid conceptual/ practical grounding in Enterprise Chief Data Office frameworks and methodologies.

+ Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment.

+ Proven ability to lead across a large, global financial firm.

+ Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.

+ Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.

+ Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills.

+ Bachelors degree required.
