**A Day in the Life**

We offer a position working our Mission close to patients: together with the on-site team and hospital staff you coordinate and control the day-to-day flow of goods and information between the hospital and applicable parties in the supply chain to manage full product availability for patient procedures in scope at the Cath Lab and OR complex.

You are hands-on and a pro in building relations with very different key stakeholders in the hospital (physicians, nurses, hospital supporting departments and hospital management) within the guidelines of Medtronic policies and supported by our internal functions (backoffices, Finance, Quality, IT and Regulatory teams) together with our business colleagues.

You are encouraged to use learnings and professional training in continuously improving our service performance and setting the bar in the hospital and for other accounts.

You are responsible for:

Executing, planning and monitoring the order, receipt, storage and consumption processes on-site for the product portfolio of all suppliers in scope, including management of the settings that drive system activity. You are fully aware of the financial impacts of these activities.

Ensuring (daily) accurate recording of consumption after procedures and to monitor follow up in case of product errors; first contact to follow up on issues as/when occurring.

Understand the Bill-of-Material standards per surgical or Cath Lab procedure. Monitor consumption patterns and identify, analyze and discuss deviations from the standard, to build best standard continuously.

Support product entry planning and execution: partner with all applicable hospital and IHS teams to ensure timely set up, ordering and delivery through all applicable systems.

Obsolescence short UBD (Use-By-Date) Management: implement initiatives to minimize obsolescence risk and monitor trends via performance indicators. Plan and run cycle counts. Manage to targets.

Initiate and contribute to process improvement initiatives in the area of materials management and consumption. Pro-actively work to improve local process and end-user experience. Share knowledge and best practices with/from other accounts.

Other responsibilities include:

Be(come)ing the local expert for DigitalPlatform (IHS Inventory Management system) and all related issues, updates and enquires. Understand interaction between DigitalPlatform and hospital system(s).

DigitalPlatform data accuracy, both Master Data and inventory data, and able to execute all related processes as well as to coordinate and process validation activities (e.g. cycle count).

Monitor the running and/or run all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and adhoc reports (including KPIs) for IHS teams and hospital teams. Create and manage error logs, report and follow up on issues and feedback information.
