**A Day in the Life**

We are looking for Marketing and Market Development leader, Surgical Innovations (SI). In this role you will drive the SI country marketing market development / disease state strategy in CHAT Austria Switzerland. This is a unique opportunity innovative product marketing excellence while at the same time ensuring the transformation of the organization towards developing Medical Surgicals focus disease states and drive their market adoption towards the standard of care.

You will work closely with the SI Country Operating Unit Leader as well as regional SI marketing leadership and will be responsible for developing, implementing and measuring the execution of the country strategic product and disease state roadmap.

Main responsibilities include:

+ _Lead the SI Country Product Marketing, Market Development Disease State and Marketing Operations Teams_ towards innovative upskilled Marketing Excellence.

+ Inspire the SI organization in country towards VBHC and cross SBU disease state initiatives

+ _Lead Country Market and Customer Insights:_ Develop deep knowledge of country industry market attractiveness, competitive landscape market analytics and Capture customer insights, segmentation and develop value proposition

+ _Manage and prioritize the full MITG Country Market Development Plan_ : Manage and prioritize market development potential opportunities and align with regional directives and Prioritize Orchestrate activities arising from PAA

+ _Develop and implement the SI Country Product Marketing plan_ : Oversee financial and demand forecasting, pricing and profitability strategy, metrics and performance measurement and Strategic planning, marketing mix strategy and portfolio management

+ _Develop and implement the Country Disease State Activities_ : Own and oversee team orchestration collaboration to support disease state management. Create and manage in-country disease state task team involvement

+ _Implement a local Marketing Operations expertise_ : Develop SI digital Marketing strategy to support multichannel sales. Develop eMarketing strategy to support in-country Disease State campaigns (drive team to create content and campaigns/programs)

+ _Implement operational Marketing Excellence_ : Instill Launch excellence and customer experience within yourteam. Commercial team alignment. Continually track customer satisfaction and demand generation. Optimize marketing effectiveness

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ BS/BA degree in marketing, economics, or biomedical engineering

+ MBA and / or additional Healthcare related (scientific or engineering) post-graduate degree a plus

+ 10+ years professional experience in a business function (Sales, Marketing, Business / Market Development)

+ 7+ years professional experience in Healthcare / Medical Devides / Pharma in a mature European market

+ 5+ years of leadership experience, ideally with a heterogenous team

+ Solid experience in a large corporate environment with a significant matrix culture.

+ Fluency in English and local languages,

+ Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

+ Willingness to travel 30 50% of time

+ Market Analysis: Solid understanding of relevant regulatory environment as well as clinical / economical barriers to adoption of MITG portfolio of disease state solutions.

+ Customer Understanding: Strong ability to translate customer patient data into insights about customer needs as well as potential adoption barriers.

+ Business Financial Acumen: Ability to identify economically relevant opportunities for MITG and model the financial impact for the company.

+ Marketing Strategy: Competent in strategic planning and detailed definition of country market development roadmap.

+ Commercial Enablement: Can create alignment within the various MITG and Medtronic stakeholders and contributors to market development disease state management, expecially with Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Healthcare Economics Reimbursement and other Commercial roles within the MITG Sales Marketing Organization.

+ Possesses sense of urgency in decision making process, yet still maintains well though-out, data-driven decision making process.

+ Ability to convey messages effectively in a variety of settings and across levels.
