Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>

A market manager is expected to uncover EMC opportunities on his or her own thru on-site visits, phone calls and referrals.  A market manager is also responsible for quickly following up on EMC leads generated by Watchfire marketing efforts (website, search engine ads, email campaigns, outbound calls, etc.).  A market manager must work closely with local sign company sales reps visiting end user prospects and providing on-site demonstrations and presentations to help win opportunities.  A market manager reports to a regional sales director but also receives guidance, direction and mentoring from an overlapping territory manager. <\/p>

Watchfire provides each market manager with the tools necessary to be successful.  Where other field salespeople might consider themselves lucky to have a sub-compact company car, Watchfire's market managers are driving the industry's finest demonstration vehicles with actual full-size operating signs onboard.  A professional base salary is combined with commissions for exceeding base sales goals.  <\/p>

It is required that a market manager live within the assigned market.  This position will require overnight travel less than 20% of working time.<\/p>

Responsibilities<\/h2>
  • Quickly follow up on all EMC leads generated by Watchfire marketing efforts.<\/li>
  • Uncover opportunities on his or her own through on-site visits, phone calls or referrals.<\/li>
  • Support local sign company sales reps in their sales presentations to end user customers through on-site sign demonstrations and expert consultation on LED sign features and benefits as well as Watchfire competitive advantages. <\/li>
  • Keep the overlapping territory manager informed of all sales opportunities, sign company developments and competitor activities.<\/li>
  • Utilize CRM tools to record activity and manage sales pipeline.<\/li><\/ul>

    Required Education/Qualifications<\/h2>
    • 2+ years demonstrated selling experience<\/li>
    • High school diploma<\/li>
    • Possess and maintain a valid drivers license<\/li>
    • Live in the assigned market<\/li>
    • Willingness and ability to fly as needed to accomplish territory goals and attend company meetings<\/li>
    • Maintain physical ability to do moderate lifting and to complete the moderately demanding physical activities required in the job<\/li>
    • Proficiency in the key Microsoft programs; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint<\/li>
    • Familiarity with sales force automation (SFA) or customer relationship management (CRM) software, ideally SalesForce.com.<\/em><\/li>

      Preferred Education/Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>

      • 2+ years working in the outdoor sign industry<\/li>
      • Bachelors or Associates Degree in business, sales, electronics or related fields<\/li><\/ul>
