Job Description

In this Senior Technical Leadership role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing test strategy and silicon execution for 5G/networking and edge product segments. You will be required to work effectively and partner with teams within the Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) organization to enable product and team success and work across divisions at Intel to influence strategic and tactical decisions across all phases of product definition and execution.

In this role you will be required to lead and partner across all product phases from product definition to pre-Si design/validation, first Si readiness, Si bring up and then all the way to PRQ. Technical partnerships need to be built within MPE teams and Intel-wide divisions across architecture, design, process technology, QnR, ATM and ATTD for success. You will be required to provide product updates to senior management.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 10+ years of industry experience.


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 15+ years of industry experience.

  • Development and debug of test patterns in at least one area of Compute system like BIOS, Intel Firmware, Power management, System Debug of silicon IPs, System drivers, Understanding of IA Architecture.

  • Experience in system level debug of chipsets and/or CPUs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Silicon debug and characterization of IPs (EG: USB, PCIe Gen4/5, SATA etc.) including working with platform and system level validation teams to identify and close silicon issues.

  • Post-Si testing and validation on package interfaces.

  • Debug and validation experience of IP / System level.

  • Pre-Si validation of test content at IP and full chip level, including test writing and simulating.

  • Analysis and disposition of early customer returns to drive understanding of design marginalities or develop test content to screen these units where needed.

  • Experience in cost reduction, or quality improvement efforts, on System testing.

  • Good level of Python, Perl or C scripting.

  • Manufacturing flow experience.

  • Semiconductor device physics and overall semiconductor testing.

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
