Yelp is looking for a tenacious leader for our Restaurant Client Partner Team. This teams responsibility is to generate additional revenue by upselling and cross selling all of Yelps products to our restaurant partners. You will be focused on ensuring your team has the skills for customer nurturing, account development and relationship development. Your success will be determined by your ability to iterate quickly and grow revenue. You know how to detect and navigate cross sell opportunities within books of business, creating long term partners while growing revenue. We are looking to add a member with a proven track record of success in a similar technology sales environment.

Where You Come In:

  • You will oversee and manage the consultative upsell of Yelps reservation, waitlist, and ads products to existing customers
  • You will provide on the floor inspiration and coaching to a team who has a customer first mentality ensuring the products recommended fit their needs
  • You will manage ongoing team performance - provide active mentorship and coaching
  • You will exceed monthly sales team quotas and successfully complete all activities that drive revenue and product expansion
  • You will implement strategic sales training, planning, and forecasting
  • You will identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiencies 
  • You will take on projects outside of the scope of day to day responsibilities as needed by the sales department

What it Takes to Succeed:

  • You have 2+ years of experience effectively developing, managing and leading sales teams
  • You have demonstrated experience and track record of generating revenue through cross-sell and upsell dedicated teams; restaurant technology strongly preferred
  • You are entrepreneurial and have a growth mindset 
  • You have a deep understanding of restaurant reservation and waitlist systems
  • You have an understanding on how to analyze metrics and use them to improve performance
  • You have strong leadership qualities and ability to work cross functionally
  • You are proficient in Salesforce CRM
